Construction Ministry
|
IS68 initially focused on construction projects, but over time, we came to realize that many of the projects selected by churches were not addressing the most pressing needs within communities.
As our mission evolved and matured, we recognized the significance of investing in structures that would have a lasting impact on communities. This led us to shift our focus towards building essential infrastructure such as Basic Schools and churches. By prioritizing these projects, we have forged strong relationships with communities, and local workers have eagerly joined hands with us in our endeavors. This collaborative approach has opened doors to a myriad of other ministry and mission opportunities, allowing us to serve communities in diverse and meaningful ways. While we still undertake house construction projects, we do so only in instances of dire need, ensuring that our resources are directed towards initiatives that will have the greatest impact. In addition to schools and churches, our construction efforts have included the installation of church pews in three churches, as well as the construction of outdoor toilets and a bus stop in other locations. These projects, though seemingly modest, play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life and fostering a sense of community within these areas. |
